| “Paws Over Santa Barbara has been caring for our pup, Chubbs, for two years and it has been nothing but a pleasure working with them. Chubbs is a shelter dog who is not quick to warm up to strangers. All of the walkers that have come from Paws Over SB have been wonderfully patient and gentle with Chubbs and we know that he loves their daily visits. Nathan vonk
Nathan was first employed with Paws early in the Summer of 2005. In March of 2006 Nathan purchased Paws from the original owners Kevin and Michelle Roberson. Nathan spends his days happily at the service of Santa Barbara's four-legged friends and until recently spent his nights as an English Teacher at Ventura College.
Nathan spent his youth exploring the woods with a Collie and Cocker Spaniel leading the way and a small army of cats tagging along watching his back. He originally grew up on a small farm in Iowa but spent his college years in Portland, Oregon. Soon after, he left to pursue his Master of Arts degree in Literature at Sussex University in Brighton, England. Nathan is now the proud owner of a ridiculously good-looking cat and dozens of fish.
Nathan handles most of the regular clients and thinks he has the best job in the world. |

Erin
Erin first came from the Bay Area to Santa Barbara in order to attend Westmont College, from which she graduated in December of 2006. One complaint that she has about her college experience is that she was forced to leave her family's adorable miniature dachshund, Limo, at home with her parents. Since then she has been working in the Medical field, which also suffers from a lack of opportunities to play with animals. Therefore she has, for the past two years, supplemented this lack of interaction with animals in her school/office life by working at Paws Over Santa Barbara, which has been wonderful!
Recently Erin has become the proud owner of the world's cutest cat and dozens of pretty fish. |

Debra Deb is a UC Berkeley graduate who spent the last 7 years in the
bay area. Deb moved to Santa Barbara in 2006 to start a Ph.D. program
in social psychology at UCSB. Deb lives with her very playful cat, Jasper, who just turned 3 years old. They are both very happy in their new home in Santa Barbara. |

Lauren
Lauren grew up on Sonoma County and moved to a farm when she was 11. She immediately became involved with 4-H and gained experience animals like horses, pigs, sheep, etc. She has had dogs and cats surrounding her for her entire life. She is currently a senior Communication Studies and Studio Art double major at Westmont College. At home she has an adorable and energetic American Staffordshire Terrier that she misses terribly. |
